The simplicity of direct deposit offers many advantages to employers that prefer not to issue physical checks. One of these advantages to direct deposit is that it saves on the check printing and delivery process. Another significant advantage is that since the money is electronically deposited, the employees need not be concerned about obtaining cash or leaving the work premises seeking to cash their checks. However, the issue with direct deposit is that some employees may not have bank accounts, or, for reasons of culture, they just want cash.
B2E can support the employer's direct deposit process by facilitating the use of pay cards, also known as pre-paid debit cards.
